Leading a General Duties Branch frontline section - I'll always remember the teamwork, support and daily
challenges that were all a part of the job.
Through a number of positions I've held, I've had the honour of helping younger (police) staff members to develop and grow their own skills, mana and wairua. It has been great to see them reach their full potential and become leaders themselves.That's what I've enjoyed most - being able to work with great people, helping them to make good decisions which have then contributed to the growth of a good organisation.
Policing is all about people - the people we work with, people we work for, and the people our collective efforts can impact on.
