Treasured locks
A mother whose much loved son had died was distraught to find that she had been burgled and gone, along with numerous other valuables, were some locks of her son’s hair - which had huge sentimental value, obviously.
That we are able to catch the burglar was excellent, but the mother’s hug and tears when I returned the cherished reminder of her son was the most rewarding experience for me.
