Take Practice Test

Joining the police isn’t for everyone – you'll need to be good at solving problems, and bright enough to cope with the intellectual demands of police work.

These practice questions are broken down into three sections that cover verbal, numerical and abstract reasoning. They are designed to demonstrate the kinds of questions you may be asked in your psychometric assessment. They do not represent the level of difficulty of the questions or number of questions in the actual police assessment.

Enter your details to start the practice questions.

The details you enter will allow us to create a profile for you on the site. You can use this profile to track your progress in the recruitment process and find out valuable information about joining police. You will be receiving a confirmation email shortly with your profile password. You can change this password when you log in under “my profile” at the top right of the page.
