Police are actively monitoring the COVID-19 situation and taking steps to ensure our applicants and staff are safe. Your application is important to us, and we are working as efficiently as we can to ensure that there is continuity in our service, while balancing our organisational priorities. As we work through these competing demands, we do ask for your patience and consideration. What this means, we certainly welcome your application but please be aware that actions at certain steps in the process may differ from the traditional, timeframes could be extended, or you may find it difficult to contact our staff.

As we currently have a large number of candidates waiting to be posted to Canterbury, if you live in Canterbury District, please be aware we can only accept your application at this time if you are willing to relocate to another district.  We will be reviewing this on a regular basis - if you are unable to relocate please check back regularly.
